Step #1: Divide the hair into three sections of equal thickness. Hold the left section in the left hand between the thumb and index finger. Similarly, hold the right section in the right hand between the thumb and index finger. Leave the middle section loose.

Braiding hair follows a few simple steps. Before braiding, prepare your hair well for it as it will facilitate the task. Step #4: Continue doing it through the length of your hair. Stop it at one inch above the bottom. Lock the braids with either a ponytail holder or a rubber band.
